This Apprenticeship Readiness Class prepares participants for entry into the welding trade by building the foundational skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in a high-demand industry. Through hands-on demonstrations, safety instruction, and guided practice, learners gain exposure to essential welding techniques, tools, and workplace expectations. The course introduces industrial standards, apprenticeship pathways, and the real-world responsibilities of a professional Journeywoman Ironworker Welder. Participants also strengthen employability skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and technical communication. Designed for individuals seeking a solid starting point in the skilled trades, this class equips learners with the readiness needed to pursue welding apprenticeships and begin a stable, rewarding career.
